15th Grimpée cycliste - On the road to Opinel
Take part in the 15th edition of the Climbée cycliste sur la route de l'Opinel: a 15km cyclosportive race between Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Gévoudaz and Albiez-Montrond. Open to all!

Description
A climb full of twists and turns to pay homage to the sharp blade of the famous Opinel knife and its origins in the village of Albiez-Montrond.
Grimpée cycliste de l'OPINEL: bib pick-up and departure from Place de la Cathédrale, towards the Opinel traffic circle in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, arrival at Place Opinel, chief town of Albiez-Montrond.
The 15 km timed climb starts at the Opinel traffic circle in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, passes through the hamlet of Gévoudaz in front of the first knife factory, and finishes at Place Opinel, in the heart of the village of Albiez-Montrond.
Open to all. Information from the Opinel Museum.
Bibs available from 8:45 am, Place de la Cathédrale, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.
Road start at 10am.
Intermediate sprint at Gévoudaz.
Vintage" category
Race open to unlicensed runners (M/F) aged +18 and to licensed runners (M/F) from the cadet category upwards.
Sports license or medical certificate required.
Each participant receives an Opinel knife.
Catering available in Albiez.
